These unaltered photographs are artistic elegies, reflections of people’s loss of their homes to banking institutions during the 2010 foreclosure crisis in America. The vacant houses and objects left behind are evidence of affluence as well as loss and, underlying it all, political failure. Some people showed their anger through destruction while others left their dreams of “home” for others.
