Après plus de 20 ans de carrière publicitaire à Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, New York City je m'installerai finalement à Miami ou je continue une carrière en tant que directeur artistique freelance à travers le monde.</p> <p>En 2014, avec des amis nous avons commencé Meetinghouse, un espace artistique et culturel interdisciplinaire à but non lucratif situé au centre-ville de Miami. Inspirés par d'anciennes coopératives d'artistes comme Roycroft, Bauhaus et les Shakers, nous avons été fondés pour favoriser la découverte, le dialogue et l'expression à travers les disciplines. Je prenais des photos ici et là mais sans jamais apprendre la photographie et sa technique dont on se doit de maitriser pour vraiment exploiter les possibilités infinies de l'imagerie. Ma timidité envers la prise de photos c'est dénouée lorsque j'ai acquis mon premier iPhone, me permettant ainsi d'oublier toutes mes carences techniques et de me focaliser seulement sur le moment, l'endroit, l'object, la personne. N'offrant pas la richesse et la qualité d'un appareil de grand format mes images représentent des moments banals et instinctifs animés par la lumière, les lignes et les couleurs. Comme beaucoup d'entre-nous il suffit de sortir le “téléphone” de sa poche et de saisir ces prises de vue qui nous entourent et nous fascinent tant, sans l'embarras d'ajuster une myriade de boutons effrayants. En fait, ce sont l'obsession et la soif de saisir ces instants obnubilants qui me conduisent à m'égarer au milieu de notre urbanisme sauvage à la capture de cadres binaires afin d'assagir la boulimie
